So you’re saying I can earn comps in Las Vegas by playing slots on Facebook? It’s true! myVegas is the first slot game on Facebook that turns your slot and blackjack play into free stuff at any MGM Casino.
There’s a lot of components to this game that keep it pretty interesting. For instance, to earn free coins you’ll need to build up your Vegas strip property by property. Earn myVegas symbols through your slot play to do so. Each completed property will give you bonus coins at a specified interval. Pretty fun activity when you’re not spinning!
When you first start you’ll have access to the slot Excalibur (named after the casino). Not a bad slot with a fun (the first few times) bonus game. You’ll need to level up and ‘Like’ to open up more slots. Overall they have a wide variety of slots that each seem to play a bit different which is nice. They also have a table games section which only has blackjack for now (more to come)?
One thing to note is that whenever I log in it’s a bit overwhelming with the amount of information that they hit you with. From daily sales messages to their promotions, there’s always 2 or 3 popups that I need to close before I can even play. Again, I get it…they need to sell coins to pay for the comps!
Now to the good stuff! Cashing in your loyalty points for real comps is great. If I earn enough points I could live like a high roller and have my room, meals, drinks and show tickets all for free. I’d still need to pay for flight and gambling money but overall, not a bad deal. The reality of it all is that I’ve been playing for quite a few hours now and have earned barely enough to get me a free frozen Daiquiri at the MGM Grand. I get it though, it’s something for nothing.
Overall, great experience and a very well done game. They’ve obviously put in a lot of work creating the Vegas strip experience. Now I just need to set aside a couple days to see if I can earn myself a second drink!
|Pros:||Fun progress system, building Vegas hotels and collecting coins from them. Can win real-life Vegas rewards.|
|Cons:||Heavy on the popups and game interruptions. The better rewards require hundreds or thousands of hours put in to achieve them.|
